Pentecost is not only the birthday of the church but also a holiday
which reminds us that the church is and always has been international.
Therefore we invite all those who like to worship in English
to a service on Pentecost Monday at the Jakobskirche.

We will listen to scriptural readings, sing traditional and modern
hymns and celebrate Pentecost in community with one another.
There will also be music with the Jakob Singers and a programme
for children during the worship service. If the weather is nice, there
will be a potluck brunch after the service in the church yard. Please
feel free to bring your friends and family along to share the holiday
spirit and meet new people.

If you are interested in participating in the service, e.g. by reading a
text, please let us know. After the service helping hands are very welcome
not only contributing beverages and food but also setting up
the potluck brunch (putting up benches, lighting the barbecue etc.).
